Dr. Ellie is the Founder and Lead Educator at thinkmed

Ellie is an experienced applications advisor and academic support tutor.

After gaining a scholarship to study at Britain’s highest ranking sixth form college she received multiple offers to read Medicine at university. Studying at University College London, she graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Medical Sciences with Clinical Sciences and MBBS in 2022.

Ellie is based in London, and currently works as a junior doctor having gained a place on the competitive Academic Foundation Programme, specialising in Medical Education. She plays a key role in educating medical students from University of Cambridge and University College London. Ellie has achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in Health and Medical Education this year.

Last year, Ellie was awarded the prestigious Excellence in Medical Education Award by UCL for her contribution to Medical Student teaching.

Outside of her medical career, Ellie has tutored hundreds of students, both through University applications as well as supporting academic studies.

Ellie has worked with Britain’s best performing sixth form colleges, providing advice on university applications, interview support and admissions test tuition.

As well as application support, Ellie has provided academic support with leading West London Education agencies for the past 6 years, helping students achieve the best possible grades.

The support Dr Ellie is able to provide is personalised and evidence driven, while ensuring students feel supported throughout the application process. She is able to provide insightful tuition, giving students the competitive edge when applying to University.
